The Demon info page on the Slightly Damned page has been thoroughly revised and updated with a lot of juicy info!
Check it out here: https://sdamned.com/demons
This is the second part of my ongoing project to redo all the lore pages on the Slightly Damned website. It's slow going, but I'm not stopping! I'll get it all done eventually, even if it takes me years.
My goal is to flesh out the world a bit more outside of the confines of the main Slightly Damned comic. As such, none of this is required reading to enjoy the main story. But you will learn some interesting facts if you do read it!

It feels good to finally get it done! ...well, 99% done. I'll be adding more fan OCs as I receive them, and I'm sure there's still some tweaks to be made.
And yes, the Fire Demon family tree is canon! It has little to no bearing on the main story, so it's like a "fun fact". Those two are likely to never find out they're related.

I guess that's to be expected. Even if they did learn somehow it probably wouldn't have any effect on the story. I can imagine their reactions if they did learn would be something like
Buwaro: Huh, neat.
Azurai: Eww, gross.
And even if there's still some adjustments here and there, the current sheet provides a lot of context! I was always wondering how Tsavo managed to make the collars. Although I do still have some minor questions if you wouldn't mind answering a few.
1. Is there any rhyme or reason to naming conventions or is it pretty much just "Ooh, that word sounds pretty. Our child will now be called 'Dishwasher'"?
2. This feels like a nitpick, but can non-wind demons have avian features like bird-like beaks or feathers?
3. How do demons like Tsavo get gender surgery? Is it just beating someone unconscious and then stabbing out their boobs?

1) There isn't really any rules for naming conventions in the story. I like the idea that Lingo (the common language of the series; technically English doesn't exist) is derived from an ancient tongue shared by the Gods, Angels, and Demons. Perhaps these exotic-sounding names are a result of that language. Outside of that: yeah I just wing it lol
2) Yes! A fire Demon with avian features was seen in the main story: https://www.sdamned.com/comic/409
3) Very carefully. I actually don't have any set, canon method for how people trans their genders in the comic. I prefer to leave that up to the readers' imaginations. For all we know, all they have to do is pray and it happens. (Then Tsavo added the scars to look cool.) (That's not true.) (Or is it?)

I remember that it was said and shown in the comic that Earth Demons are usually very huge with Sahne Tamis being a good example of this while Iratu without his Moon Emblem is actually very small for an Earth Demon. I wonder how gigantic a more "regular" sized Earth Demon like Sahne would become if she were to wear the Moon Emblem?
My friends and I decided that once Buwaro is fully grown and ready for Spicy Stuff, nourished from the food of Medius and with lots of love from Kieri, he'll sprout to a normal height of being one inch taller than Azurai XD (Plushwaro can be one inch taller than Iratu).
As Ease said, Iratu's moon pendant makes him a "proper" height for an earth Demon. It's got an "on" position and an "off" position. When it's "off" he's only a little taller than Azurai. His height changes significantly from page 778 to page 779, if you wanna take a look.
Correct! Iratu actually being a runt himself is supposed to be a surprise in the story, so I went with his "pendant on" size for the height chart.
Buwaro is featured because he's one of the main protagonists. But I want to make sure that everyone knows Teenwaro is actually quite small for a Demon. Even Sahne calls him a "scrawny little runt" on page 482.
(Though as we can see in Spicy Stuff, he might just be a late bloomer. It's fun to think TLC and food from Medius helps him grow, even if it takes a few more years than usual.)
